Beyond the Books

In 2026, TSC implemented its own unique curriculum, 'Beyond the Books', for all students in Years 10–12. Beyond the Books is a compulsory pastoral care program aimed at developing the essential skills that will prepare our students for the post-school world by placing emphasis on critical thinking through inquiry-based discovery, teamwork through collaborative learning, organisation through self-directed learning, and literacy and numeracy through authentic projects.

The program covers the Respectful Relationships curriculum, Careers and Pathways compulsory outcomes, as well as the vital life skills our students need to become successful and valuable members of society. We also explore volunteer opportunities within the community and provide targeted support for pathway endeavours, including SEAS applications.
