Tarneit Senior College is experiencing a period of sustained growth for both the suburb and school over the next 5 to 10 years. Current enrolments are approximately 1100 students with a long term enrolment projection of up to 1500 students. We currently have approximately 130 staff members; 40 Educartion Support and 90 Teaching staff. The college is continuing to recruit across a range of subject areas and education support roles within the college. 

At Tarneit Senior College, we have a thorough induction process to ensure all staff are familiar with College policies and procedures. All new teaching staff are provided with a mentor from their domain area. The mentor provides support throughout the year with curriculum, assessment, reporting & College processes and act as a first point of contact for any questions or concerns. Graduate teachers are fully supported through the VIT registration process by their mentor and our team of Learning Specialists.

The College has a highly supportive staff with a culture of collaboration and innovation. We have many tiers of support for staff including: Heads of Domain, Learning Specialists, the Engagament in Learning Team comprised of House Leaders and Year Level Coordinators, the Wellbeing Team and specialised Education Support staff. The Principal Class have an open door polilcy and are available to staff at all times.
