Welcome to Tarneit Senior College. We look forward to you joining the Tarneit Senior College family in 2022.

We understand that the transition to a new school can be both exciting and challenging for you and your child as you approach the final months at your current school and embark on a new journey at Tarneit Senior College. Online subject selections are now closed, please download the below form and once complete return to Tarneit Senior College in person or by email to enrolments@tarneitsc.vic.ed.au. We can also take your subject selections over the phone on 9749 0246.

Selecting your subjects - Edval Choices

Students will be required to submit their subject selections directly into our Subject Selection Program - Edval Choices

Parents/guardians will be sent their web code via text message from the College on Monday 1st November.

  1. Go to https://my.edval.education/login

  2. Sign into the your account using the Web Code provided sent to you via text

  3. Open Form for Submission

  4. Verify you have opened the correct form. Confirm that your name is located at the top right corner of form.

  5. Enter subjects (in order of priority)

  6. Click ‘submit’ (Once you have submitted your selections an email will be sent to your student Gmail account) Please read this email to ensure your selections are correct.

  7. Logout (top right of screen)

VCE Early Commencement - Further information on VCE subjects available and how to apply please refer to the Subject Handbook.

All students will be required to attend their Transition Days.


Our Transition Days are both an exciting and essential opportunity to engage with your classes, teachers, peers and the College community.


Students will also receive an additional information pack, which will contain their 2022 timetable, House allocation and other important documents that will need to be completed as part of their transition.


All students will need to;

  • Wear their current school uniform

  • Arrive at 8:45am via Crossway Ave

  • Bring their lunch, book and pens

Important dates

Subject Selections Period

Monday 1st November - Monday 8th November 2021

All families will be required to access their Edval web code and select subjects within this timeframe on the Edval Choices Portal. Parents/guardians will be sent their web code via text message from the College on Monday 1st November.

Transition Days

Monday 6th December - Wednesday 8th December 2021

All students will be required to attend their Transition Days as an important part of their school transition.

Chromebook & Booklist Collection Period

Tuesday 24th, Wednesday 25th, Friday 27th January

All families and students will be able to collect their Chromebook and books prior to commencing classes.

Information regarding the collection period will be provided to students during their Transition Days.

Students Commence 2022 Classes

Tuesday 1st February 2022

All students will commence their Term 1 studies.

Tarneit Senior College Open Evening

Term 1 - Date TBC

All families, including students will be invited to explore the College, meet classroom teachers and be provided with further information regarding the College during our open evening.

Uniform

The full range of our uniform is available to view and purchase at Rushfords Schoolwear located at 1/13 Barnes Place, Werribee.

Layby is available.

Uniform fittings are available to book here.

School Fees

Booklist

The Booklist and subject allocation will be provided to students when they attend their transisition days in December.


Chromebook

The below Chromebook is included in the 2022 School bundle:

Lenovo 100e Gen 3 Chromebook - 11.6" Non Touch, AMD 3015E, 4GB, 32GB, 1YR RTB WTY

Chromebook & Novel Collection for Year 10

The school will be open on Monday 24th January and Tuesday 25th January for the collection of Students Chromebooks and English novels from 10:00am until 3:00pm.

A minimum of $150 fee payment will be required on the day.

It is highly recommended that students collect their essential learning requirements on these day so that they are prepared for their first day of school on Monday 31st January.

Please note, students are not required to have read their english novels over the school holidays.
